Job Summary
Serving as the primary resource for financial aid eligibility and compliance, the full-time remote Financial Aid Advisor will guide students through federal, state, and institutional aid programs, review applications, assist with appeals, and support academic planning to enhance student success.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support and guidance on financial aid opportunities to students and families
- Review and analyze financial aid applications while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Develop academic plans for students facing Satisfactory Academic Progress issues and recommend solutions
Required qualifications
- Associate's Degree plus 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree
- Experience working in fast-paced financial aid and student service environments
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs
- Ability to present financial aid information effectively to diverse audiences
