Job Summary
Serving as a primary point of contact for students and families, the full-time Financial Aid Advisor will counsel individuals through the financial aid process, manage verification files, and build supportive relationships, all while working remotely or on-campus in Draper, UT.
Key responsibilities
- Counseling students through the financial aid process from FAFSA completion to awarding and disbursement
- Reviewing and analyzing financial aid applications to determine eligibility for various aid programs
- Conducting individual appointments, workshops, and virtual advising sessions to provide clear guidance and support
Required qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in financial aid, student advising, or a related student-facing environment
- Experience working directly with students and families in a financial aid setting strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of Title IV financial aid regulations
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
