Financial Aid Advisor III

Job Summary

Responsible for guiding students through the financial aid process, the full-time Financial Aid Advisor III will develop and finalize financial plans, assist with application procedures, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Efficiently package financial aid for new, continuing, re-entry, and transfer students
• Guide students and parents through the financial aid application process and explain their rights and responsibilities
• Assist with training new Financial Aid Advisors and lead projects to enhance team performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or Associate's degree with 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience with federal and student financial aid is required
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with financial aid software (Campus Vue/Campus Nexus preferred)
• Ability to present to small groups and interact effectively on a one-on-one basis
