Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Aid Consultant to provide part-time financial aid advising to students and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage personalized timelines for families regarding financial aid processes
• Advise families on financial aid forms, including FAFSA and CSS Profile
• Analyze financial aid award letters and assist with student loan counseling and appeals

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a financial aid officer or in financial planning
• Ability to work independently and manage a small caseload
• Understanding of the financial aid process and its impact on families
• Availability for part-time work, ideally 5-15 hours per week
• Commitment to ethical advising practices and supporting diverse families
