Financial Aid Processing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Processing Specialist I to support the Student Financial Services team with various financial aid processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain tasks and responsibilities set by the leadership team
• Perform financial aid packaging and review/approve disbursements
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and participate in department projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in financial aid, accounting, finance, or a related field
• Experience with data processing and automated records maintenance systems preferred
• Knowledge of financial aid programs and regulations
• Experience in higher education preferred
