Financial Aid Processing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Processing Specialist I to support the Student Financial Services team with various financial aid processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Package financial aid and review/approve disbursements
• Process R2T4s and maintain compliance with federal/state regulations
• Participate in ongoing department projects and ensure timely communication with Department of Education systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience in financial aid, accounting, finance, or a related field
• Experience with data processing and automated records maintenance systems preferred
• Familiarity with financial aid programs and regulations
• Experience in higher education and technology-driven environments preferred
