Financial Aid Processing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Processing Specialist I to support the Student Financial Services team with various financial aid processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Package financial aid and review/approve disbursements
• Process R2T4s, credit balances, and verification tasks
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations while maintaining communication with the Department of Education systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Minimum of one year of experience in financial aid, accounting, finance, or related fields
• Experience with data processing and automated records maintenance systems preferred
• Experience in higher education and technology-driven environments preferred
• Knowledge of financial aid programs and regulations
