Job Summary

To support the coordination and processing of student fraud and identity theft investigations, the part-time Financial Aid Specialist will manage incoming case activity, track progress, and collaborate with internal departments while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage incoming fraud and identity theft case activity to ensure timely review and resolution
  • Coordinate with various internal departments to gather and validate required documentation
  • Prepare and securely transmit documentation to authorized external entities while maintaining accurate records
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree in a related field plus 1 year of relevant experience, or 3+ years of directly related experience
  • Experience working in administrative, compliance, financial aid, or related environments
  • Familiarity with student information systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive data with discretion
