Financial Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Analyst I to assist in analyzing financial trends and costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, produce, and validate reports from claims, eligibility, pharmacy, and clinical data
• Compile and analyze financial and clinical information for medical contracts and cost-saving initiatives
• Assist in revenue and medical expense forecasting and monitor monthly variances

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, computer sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in the financial field is preferred
• Managed care or healthcare experience is preferred
• Knowledge of SQL and/or SAS is preferred, but not required
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
