Financial Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Analyst to support the finance team in managing and analyzing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly financial closings and analyze sales, expenses, and title counts
• Create monthly summaries of financial performance and key performance indicators
• Assist in preparing forecasts and perform post-mortem analyses of acquisitions/publications

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in finance/accounting or a related analytical role
• Understanding of basic financial and accounting principles
• Proficiency in Excel (including vlookups and pivot tables) and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI, Anaplan, SAP, and ChatGPT preferred
• Strong interest in the publishing industry is a plus
