Financial Analyst

Job Summary

To support financial operations, the contract Financial Analyst will perform audits of invoices for prepaid services, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards, while working remotely in the PST or MST time zones for a duration of 6+ months.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits of third-party invoices related to labor, housing, and per diem during work stoppages
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting packages
• Collaborate with operational departments and external vendors to maintain financial controls and support audits

Required qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in accounting
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and large datasets
• Experience with auditing is preferred but not mandatory
• CPA or CMA credentials are a plus, though not required
• Familiarity with ERP systems is beneficial but not essential for this role
