Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Providing essential fiscal support, the full-time Financial Analyst will manage fiscal transactions, maintain records, and prepare budget projections while working remotely under the direction of the Fiscal Operations Manager in the Department of Anesthesiology.

Key responsibilities

• Process and track purchasing transactions, including payment requests and travel reimbursements, ensuring compliance with policies
• Prepare budget projections based on historical data and resolve discrepancies related to procurement and travel
• Serve as a point of contact for faculty and staff regarding fiscal procedures and maintain departmental account balances

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Experience with fiscal management and budget preparation
• Proficiency in financial software and systems, including Workday
• Strong understanding of procurement and travel policies
• Ability to maintain accurate records and provide high-level customer service
