Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Providing financial analysis and technical writing support, the long-term contract Financial Analyst will work 50% remotely from Grand Prairie, Texas, analyzing financial data, generating purchase requests, and assisting engineering teams with documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and generate purchase requests to support engineering projects
• Provide technical writing assistance for documentation and reports related to financial analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends and provide insights on financial performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Certification in cost accounting, financial analysis, or a related field (e.g., CMA, CPA)
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or cost accounting
• Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and cost control
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex spreadsheets and pivot tables
