Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time hourly basis, the Financial Analyst will manage budget tracking, perform detailed reviews of expenses and revenues, and prepare financial and compliance reports for the Rural Health Transformation Program.
Key responsibilities
- Track and monitor budget variances and perform monthly revenue and expense accruals
- Prepare payments for sub-grantees and ensure compliance with organizational and federal guidelines
- Monitor spending trends and make recommendations for process improvements
Required qualifications
- High school graduation with 12 credit hours in accounting and 8 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience
- Completion of a two-year course in accounting or business with 4 years of related experience, or a four-year degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with 2 years of related experience
- Considerable knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and governmental accounting practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel and use of pivot tables
- Familiarity with applicable State and Federal laws and regulations impacting the organization
