Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Assisting in the analysis of financial trends and costs, the full-time salaried Financial Analyst I will develop reports from claims and clinical data, compile financial information, and support budgeting and forecasting efforts in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, produce, and validate reports from detailed claims and clinical data
• Compile and analyze financial and clinical information to evaluate medical contracts and cost-saving initiatives
• Assist in the development of revenue forecasts and budgets while monitoring monthly variances

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, computer sciences, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Preferred previous experience in the financial field, particularly in managed care or healthcare
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of SQL and/or SAS is preferred but not required
• Ability to perform tasks under general supervision and demonstrate analytical skills
