Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Financial Analyst will gather and document business requirements, support finance project implementations, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) while collaborating with various teams across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements for finance projects
• Plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Post-Implementation Verification (PIV)
• Validate financial data and support financial reporting and internal controls

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of finance experience within a financial institution
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and IFRS
• Experience with internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR)
• Experience with UAT, testing, and system implementations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
