Financial Analyst

Job Summary

To support key business operations, the remote Financial Analyst will maintain a financial management platform, analyze accounting processes, and coordinate system updates while collaborating with accounting and business users.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver responsive support for financial system users by addressing inquiries related to time records, billing activity, and financial reports
• Analyze accounting and revenue processes to identify dependencies and recommend improvements for operational efficiency
• Coordinate system updates by gathering requirements, conducting testing, and assisting users during user acceptance testing (UAT)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline
• Three to six years of experience supporting financial applications or performing financial analysis
• Previous exposure to legal billing or accounting technology, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting
• Working knowledge of billing operations, timekeeping processes, and basic SQL query development
• Ability to investigate system concerns and document business requirements effectively
