Financial Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Analyst consultant to provide support for financial statement reporting, compilation, and audit remediation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform federal accounting research and analysis
• Update the Annual Financial Report (AFR) and all components included in the report
• Compile, prepare, and review quarterly financial statements and related notes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• One of the following professional certifications: CPA, CISA, CIA, CGFM, or CDFM
• 3+ years of progressive, relevant DoD financial statement audit and/or compilation experience
• Experience supporting audit response, audit remediation, internal controls, financial processes, and/or accounting in accordance with GAAP, SFFAS, and/or relevant OMB policies for State or Federal Government agencies
• Experienced in researching the DoD FMR and TFM
