Financial Analyst II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Analyst II responsible for project financial functions in government contracting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates at completion and review project costs and revenue
• Monitor project spending and reconcile unbilled balances, providing timely reports and presentations
• Assist project managers with annual budget preparation and support the development of cost proposals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 5+ years of experience in Project Finance and/or Accounting in a government contracting environment
• Experience using Deltek Costpoint for project setup, revenue recognition, and billing
• Knowledge of various government contract types and experience with large contracts
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and experience with Microsoft Office suite
