Financial Analyst II

Job Summary

Providing expert analytical and financial services, the full-time remote Financial Analyst II will manage post-award functions, optimize research fund usage for Principal Investigators, and ensure compliance with federal and sponsor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial and budgetary management of a designated client portfolio, ensuring adherence to University and sponsor-specific requirements
• Conduct complex strategic modeling for Principal Investigators' portfolios to support resource planning and financial reporting
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a liaison between clients and central University administrative offices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business, or finance
• Four years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and database query tools
• Experience with federal regulations and reporting requirements related to grants and contracts
• Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively
