Financial Analyst III

Job Summary

Supporting various contracts in a fast-paced environment, the full-time remote Financial Analyst III will be responsible for financial reporting, program/project control functions, and contract budgeting while collaborating with project management and contracts personnel to manage financial performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform financial duties including preparing month-end journal entries, monitoring program revenue, and analyzing variances against budgets
• Maintain accurate project tracking spreadsheets and ensure timely notification of funding status with detailed line items
• Review and approve invoices for submission to customers while managing billing status and resolving unbilled issues promptly

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field with at least 5 years of relevant financial experience, or equivalent experience with lower educational qualifications
• Prior experience with Government Contracting and familiarity with Hyperion Financial Management, Costpoint, and COGNOS software
• Experience in creating Wage Adjustment and Contract Modification Proposals
• Must be able to maintain a Secret Security Clearance
• Ability to multitask and work independently under tight deadlines
