Financial Analyst (Pre-Award)

Job Summary

Supporting program financial operations, the part-time Financial Analyst (Pre-Award) will manage budget planning, execution, and reporting in alignment with Department of Defense financial management processes while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure effective allocation and tracking of funding to support mission objectives
• Perform financial analysis and compliance with federal budgeting frameworks
• Coordinate closely with program leadership and financial management teams to ensure fiscal accountability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or a minimum of five years of equivalent experience in financial management
• Demonstrated experience in DoD budget execution and financial management
• Experience in cost estimation, financial forecasting, and program financial reporting
• Hands-on experience with defense financial management systems
• Proven ability to perform funding reconciliation and expenditure tracking
