Financial Applications Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Applications Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop financial application solutions, ensuring scalability and alignment with accounting principles
• Analyze existing finance processes to identify inefficiencies and engineer solutions for improvement
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for complex financial system issues and ensure compliance with internal controls

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in application development for finance or accounting systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with NetSuite
• Hands-on experience configuring or developing ERP or financial applications
• Solid knowledge of core accounting processes, including General Ledger and AP/AR
