Job Summary

Advising students on financial aid options, the full-time Financial Assistance Advisor will work remotely to provide guidance on financial eligibility, application processes, and money management while analyzing financial data and ensuring compliance with federal and institutional guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Advises students on financial aid eligibility, application procedures, and financial planning tailored to individual needs
• Collects and analyzes financial data to determine aid eligibility and awards according to guidelines
• Evaluates documentation related to unusual circumstances and communicates with students regarding their financial aid status

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2-3 years of related experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CampusVue Student database preferred
• Experience utilizing AI tools preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure environment
