Financial Business Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Business Analyst to evaluate and monitor program-level financial processes and resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts economic research and analyzes financial statements to prepare reports and recommendations for management
• Compiles and reviews budgets, monitors financial policies, and analyzes trends to ensure effective financial administration
• Defines key performance indicators and provides technical assistance with cost analysis and budget preparations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with intermediate experience in MS Word and MS PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Agile concepts and tools like JIRA, GitHub, and Confluence is preferred
• Previous experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs is a plus
