Financial Clearance Associate

Job Summary

Working full-time in a remote capacity, the Financial Clearance Associate will be responsible for obtaining and verifying demographic and insurance information, scheduling patient appointments, and coordinating patient flow while meeting quality metrics in a call center environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Obtain and verify necessary demographic and insurance information, including authorizations and referrals
• Schedule patient appointments and procedures, ensuring timely processing and coordination of patient flow
• Maintain knowledge of insurance requirements and financial assistance options to address patient inquiries effectively

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Completion of the Patient Access training course is necessary
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of medical and insurance terminology preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish/Creole is desired
