Financial Clearance Associate

Job Summary

To support patient access operations, the full-time Financial Clearance Associate will obtain and verify demographic and insurance information, schedule appointments, and ensure compliance with quality metrics in a remote call center environment.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and verify necessary demographic and insurance information, including authorizations and referrals
• Schedule patient appointments and procedures while coordinating patient flow and addressing inquiries
• Maintain knowledge of insurance requirements and financial assistance options to support revenue cycle operations

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Completion of the Patient Access training course
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of medical and insurance terminology preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish/Creole is a plus
