Job Summary

Working full-time in a remote capacity, the Financial Clearance Associate will be responsible for obtaining and verifying patient demographic and insurance information, scheduling appointments, and coordinating patient flow while meeting quality metrics in a call center environment.

Key responsibilities:
  • Obtain and verify necessary demographic and insurance information, including authorizations and referrals
  • Schedule patients' appointments and procedures, ensuring timely processing and coordination of patient flow
  • Maintain knowledge of insurance requirements and financial assistance options while providing excellent customer service
Required qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; completion of Patient Access training course
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of medical and insurance terminology is desired
  • Experience with computer applications, including Microsoft Office and EMR systems
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish/Creole is preferred
