Financial Clearance Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Clearance Representative Intermediate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze patient visit information to determine authorization needs and secure necessary approvals
• Ensure timely acquisition of initial and subsequent authorizations
• Provide mentoring to less experienced team members on revenue cycle and payer issues

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ months of experience with Prior Authorization activities in healthcare business office/insurance operations
• 6+ months of experience as a Financial Clearance Representative Associate
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Must be 18 years of age or older
