Job Summary
To support patient care, the full-time Financial Clearance Representative will manage insurance verification and financial clearance processes, serving as the main point of contact between patients, care teams, and insurance providers in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with insurance companies to verify coverage and secure financial clearance for patient care
- Serve as the main contact between admissions, clinic staff, billing teams, and providers to ensure timely financial clearances
- Maintain accurate records related to insurance verification and collaborate with teams to resolve issues and streamline processes
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent with one year of experience in pre-certifications or a related healthcare field
- Successful completion of a Patient Access Representative traineeship at an accredited institution
- Experience in insurance, patient access, or billing functions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a customer-focused mindset
