Financial Clearance Representative

Job Summary

A healthcare company is seeking a Financial Clearance Representative.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform daily Financial Clearance activities
• Educate patients on policies, verify insurance eligibility, confirm coverage benefits, and provide price estimates
• Review and analyze patient visit information to determine authorization needs and secure authorization in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in healthcare business office/insurance operations
• Experience with Insurance and Benefit Verification, Pre-Registration, and/or Prior Authorization activities
• Experience working with clinical staff and documentation
• Associate's or Vocational degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Health, or Related Field of Study preferred
• High school diploma or GED preferred
