Financial Clearance Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Clearance Rep - CKRI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily Financial Clearance activities, including interviewing patients, verifying insurance eligibility, providing price estimates, and obtaining authorizations
• Educate patients on policies and inform them of financial assistance programs
• Review and analyze patient visit information to determine authorization needs and secure authorization in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED preferred
• 0 to 2 years of experience in insurance verification, pre-registration, or prior authorization in a healthcare business office/insurance operations
• 0 to 2 years of experience working with clinical staff and clinical documentation
• Associate's or Vocational degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Health, or related field preferred
