Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Clearance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify eligibility and benefits, obtain pre-certifications, and fulfill notification requirements
  • Contact patients for payments, establish payment plans, and enter information into the system
  • Collaborate with various departments, provide patient education, and document all interactions

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, some college courses preferred
  • One year service-related experience required, three years preferred
  • Approximately one to two years experience in medical setting or insurance claims processing preferred
  • Medical terminology and/or insurance terminology knowledge preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
