Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Clearance Specialist-REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient information and collect financial liabilities prior to services
  • Initiate contact with insurance companies for eligibility and billing information
  • Process patient payments and reschedule appointments as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D., with business concentration preferred
  • Four plus years of experience in a business office setting, preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Prior experience in a healthcare environment is required
  • Associate degree or higher is preferred
  • Knowledge of third-party collections and reimbursement is preferred
