Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Clearance Specialist-REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and verify patient information for scheduled medical services, ensuring accurate demographic and financial details
• Initiate contact with insurance companies to obtain eligibility and perform collections on outstanding accounts
• Process patient payments and manage pre-certification authorization prior to services being rendered

Required Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D.; business concentration preferred
• Four plus years of experience in a business office setting, preferably in a hospital revenue cycle
• Prior experience in a healthcare environment is required
• Associate degree or higher is preferred
• Knowledge of third-party collections and reimbursement is preferred
