Job Summary
Utilizing specialized knowledge, the full-time Financial Clearance Specialist will perform pre-registration, scheduling, and insurance verification while supporting patient access and financial responsibility processes, initially working onsite with an option for remote work after training.
Key responsibilities
- Research and analyze information to identify opportunities and develop solutions for performance improvement
- Manage pre-registration and scheduling tasks, ensuring accurate collection of patient financial responsibilities
- Distribute analytical reports and support customer relations to enhance patient experience and service delivery
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) to Five (5) years of experience in scheduling, financial clearance, or patient access
- National certification in HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one (1) year of hire
- Proficiency in Patient Registration/Patient Accounting systems and related software
