Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller with deep crypto accounting experience to design and build its financial infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and own the in-house crypto accounting infrastructure, including cost basis and transaction recognition
• Manage the month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring complete and auditable financials
• Collaborate with Data and Engineering teams to develop financial tables and reconciliation processes

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, specifically in GAAP for digital assets
• Experience in designing or significantly architecting accounting systems
• Familiarity with data infrastructure, including dbt and data modeling concepts
• Proven track record of managing month-end and quarter-end close processes
• CPA or equivalent certification is a plus; experience in DeFi or blockchain is advantageous
