Job Summary

Managing day-to-day accounting operations remotely, the full-time salaried Financial Controller will oversee full-cycle accounts payable, payroll processing, and tax compliance while supporting the month-end close process.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including vendor onboarding and invoice processing
• Coordinate semi-monthly payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records
• Prepare and submit monthly multi-state sales tax filings and assist with compliance documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Proactive mindset with a resourceful and self-motivated approach to problem-solving
• Good working knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting principles
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and strong Excel skills
• Exposure to tools like Avalara for sales tax and PEO platforms for payroll
