Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time salaried Financial Controller will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including full-cycle accounts payable, payroll processing, and tax compliance, while supporting the month-end close process.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including vendor onboarding, bill runs, and resolving invoice discrepancies
• Coordinate semi-monthly payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records
• Prepare and submit monthly multi-state sales tax filings, ensuring compliance with deadlines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 2-4 years of practical accounting experience
• Good working knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting principles
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and strong Excel skills
• Exposure to tax compliance tools like Avalara and payroll platforms
• Proactive mindset with a resourceful approach to problem-solving
