Job Summary

Managing daily operations for Financial Counseling, the full-time Financial Counseling Supervisor will oversee staff, ensure efficient processes for financial assistance and Medicaid eligibility, and advocate for patient satisfaction in a mostly remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Educate clinical departments on Financial Counseling operations and provide consultation to improve revenues
• Develop and implement procedures to optimize revenue generation and ensure staff training on these processes
• Participate in staff recruitment, conduct performance evaluations, and manage team projects to enhance operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Two years of relevant experience and one year of supervisory experience (or equivalent based on education level)
• Understanding of overall hospital revenue cycle functions
• Experience in customer service and strong analytical skills
• Proficient in time management and prioritization
