Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Counselor (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Verify client's insurance information and determine medical assistance status upon admission
• Assist clients in applying for medical assistance and follow through with the application process
• Transmit client's third-party payer information to pharmacy, lab, and other providers for credits and adjustments

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in a Medical Office preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and computer systems
• Basic math skills and excellent typing skills
• Ability to comply with state and federal guidelines
