Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Counselor Level I.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and collect outstanding patient balances while discussing payment options
• Monitor unpaid balances and assist patients in understanding amounts owed and payment plans
• Handle escalated patient account issues and complete necessary reports and analyses

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience in healthcare
• 1 year of billing experience
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding
• Familiarity with billing and coding regulatory guidelines
• Consistent access to a private work environment with high-speed internet
