Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Counselor for the Adult Outpatient Pavilion in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Register patients, validate insurance eligibility, and collect co-payments
• Assess patient financial responsibility and provide benefit education
• Accept payments and reconcile accounts in unbilled status

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or bachelor's degree preferred in a related field
• Minimum two years of customer service experience with a patient-centered focus
• Previous experience with computers and Microsoft Office software
• Preferred experience in patient scheduling/registration in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurance is preferred
