Job Summary

Providing essential financial guidance, the full-time remote Financial Counselor will deliver cost estimates, assist patients with insurance coverage understanding, and manage payment arrangements prior to appointments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate cost estimates to patients prior to scheduled appointments
• Assist patients with payment arrangements and financial assistance applications
• Verify insurance benefits and coverage details while documenting all interactions in electronic systems

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ years of healthcare customer service preferred
• Familiarity with EHR systems and billing platforms (e.g., Epic, ModMed) preferred
• Ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism
• Basic math and computer skills
