Financial Counselor
Job Summary
To support a growing fertility practice, the full-time Financial Counselor will assist patients with treatment estimates, determine insurance coverage, and educate them on financial options while working remotely during PST hours.
Key responsibilities
- Furnish patients and healthcare providers with estimates related to upcoming treatment
- Collect estimated liabilities from patients and apply payments to patient accounts
- Communicate financial status and resolve issues related to patient accounts receivables
Required qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of experience in fertility or healthcare
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and billing practices
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with electronic medical records
- Flexible availability, including some weekends and holidays
