Financial Crimes Investigator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Crimes Investigations Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform secondary reviews of escalated alerts and make risk-based decisions on complex or high-risk cases
• Conduct cradle-to-grave investigations, including insider trading and potential fraud rings, ensuring detailed documentation
• Write and file Suspicious Activity Reports and respond to regulatory and law enforcement requests

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in Banking, Financial Services, Government, or the Casino industry
• Experience conducting anti-money laundering, fraud, or financial crimes investigations
• Working knowledge of laws and regulations related to money laundering, fraud, and terrorist financing
• Experience coaching or mentoring junior investigators
• CAMS or Certified Fraud Examiner designation strongly preferred
