Financial Data Analyst

Job Summary

To support a growing accounting team, the full-time Financial Data Analyst will identify process improvements, automate workflows, and analyze large datasets to enhance efficiency and data accuracy in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability within the accounting function
• Analyze and convert manual processes into automated, data-driven solutions
• Develop and maintain management reports and dashboards while supporting cross-functional data analysis initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Analytics preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Proven ability to analyze and work with large, complex datasets
• Strong technical skills, including Advanced Excel and T-SQL (required)
• Experience with Python, Power BI, and Snowflake (preferred)
• Experience with accounting systems such as Lawson (a plus)
