Job Summary

Working remotely on a 12-month contract basis, the Financial Data Analyst will analyze accounts and data for accuracy, manage tax identification applications, and confirm transaction postings while supporting special projects as assigned.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze accounts and data for accuracy, providing management reports and resolving discrepancies
• Manage the application process for tax identification numbers from state and federal agencies
• Confirm postings of checks and transactions to account records, investigating any discrepancies

Required qualifications

• Experience with data extraction and analysis using Excel
• Knowledge of tax identification application processes
• Ability to reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Familiarity with financial reporting and special project assistance
• Prior experience in accounting or auditing roles
