Financial Data Analyst

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the full-time Financial Data Analyst will manage forecasting and planning cycles, build portfolio-level analytics, and assist in capital markets strategies while working remotely or from office locations in Richmond, VA, or Arlington, VA.

Key responsibilities

• Build merchant- and product-level unit economics and cash flow analyses to inform strategic decisions
• Support quarterly forecasts and annual budgeting, analyzing portfolio performance and profitability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align forecasts and improve internal processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a quantitative field
• 2 - 5 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or financial services analytics
• Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills with advanced proficiency in Excel
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with large, complex datasets
• Analytical thinker with a focus on data integrity and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
