Job Summary
Consulting with patients on their benefits and financial options, the full-time remote Financial Educator will perform benefit verification, provide ongoing financial education, and maintain patient accounts while supporting a nationally respected organization.
Key responsibilities
- Consult with patients regarding their benefits, coverage, and financial options
- Perform aspects of benefit verification and prior authorization
- Provide ongoing financial education and assistance throughout the continuum of patient care
Required qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of medical business office experience with knowledge of healthcare billing and collections
- Experience reading and understanding payer remittance advice
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience in an OB/GYN office is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft programs, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
